Walk of Hope Teams

TEAMS!

Everyone who registers for the Walk of Hope should consider creating or joining a team.  A team consists of 8 or more people (because 1 in 8 is someone you know).  You are encouraged to walk together, create team spirit by designing your own t-shirts, fundraise etc.  Creating a team is simple:

1. REGISTER for the Walk.
2. Add your TEAM NAME during the registration process and mark the box for TEAM CAPTAIN.
3. Ask your FAMILY and FRIENDS to join your team.  They will simply add your team name in the appropriate box at registration.

Your team captain will be notified each week of who has joined the team and how much money the team has raised.  The team captain and other members of the team should use the resources below to help raise funds.

Have friends and family that live out of state? Ask them to become virtual walkers. For every virtual walker that supports you or your team, you will receive two of our 1 in 8 bracelets - one for you to wear the day of the walk and one to mail to your virtual walker. For as little as $10 your friends, family, co-workers and even your insurance agent can show their support.

Teams will be entered to win prizes the day of the walk.  Categories will include:

• Highest Fundraiser
• Best Team Name
• Largest Team
• Largest Virtual Team
• and many others!
