RESOLVE’s 2010 Walk of Hope is Atlanta’s first event held to raise awareness and funds for infertility support and advocacy - an event for people of all ages to find their voice during or after an often silent struggle with infertility. Year-round, RESOLVE works to raise awareness of infertility issues through education and advocacy. Walking with us on September 25th will not only increase awareness of how widespread infertility is in our community, but also send a message to our lawmakers that we will be silent no more.

Please consider walking with us at the First Annual Walk of Hope Atlanta. This event is important to us because it allows patients to have a voice in the community. All too often we see our patients silently bear the burden of their infertility. As a participant in the Walk of Hope you can find your voice and help bring infertility out of the shadows. We look forward to seeing you on September 25th and sharing the message of hope with infertile women and men throughout Atlanta.

Will you walk with us?
Online registration is now open for the 2010 Walk! You may register yourself, start a team or join a team. On-line registration is easy. If you register before September 14th, you are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt and swag bag on the day of the event. We can't guarantee t-shirt availability/sizes for anyone that registers after September 14, but we will do our best to accomodate everyone. Due to an overwhelming response, RESOLVE is not able to guarantee swag bags for any additional participants.

Benefits of Walking?
Each participant will receive a walk t-shirt, swag bag, refreshments and a ticket to enter into our prize drawings. Prizes will also be awarded for a variety of categories - please see the teams page for more information. Check-out our fundraising page for additional incentives.

Who Should Walk?

Those struggling with infertility
Anyone who has resolved their infertility
Family and friends of someone that has struggled to build their family

Invite your friends and family to join you in recognition of your unique journey to parenthood. The walk is a great time to thank those who supported you along the way. It’s also a great opportunity to show your support to someone who is currently riding the infertility rollercoaster.

Why Walk?
Funds raised for the walk will help to support RESOLVE’s local programming, including low cost/no cost educational events, free support groups and HelpLines for women and men with infertility. Funds will also be directed to RESOLVE’s advocacy efforts which include support of the Family Building Act as well as state-by-state efforts to keep treatment for infertility legal.

Maybe you or your loved ones can’t make the Walk of Hope 2010. You can still support the Walk of Hope by donating. (Donate in a participant’s name and they will receive a giveaway ticket for every $50 raised).
