Listed below in chronological order are upcoming events of interest to the infertility community in the Northeast Region, hosted and sponsored by various professional members of RESOLVE. This list is provided as a service to our members, both consumer and professional. Please note that RESOLVE does not receive any portion of fees that may be required to attend the events listed below, nor does RESOLVE have any input regarding the events themselves. Helen Adrienne, LCSW, BCD - author of On Fertile Ground: Healing Infertility - is conducting a 2-day training for therapists seeking expertise in working with infertility. - May 8, 2014 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Basic & Advanced Infertility Counseling.
The first Jefferson University course designed for infertility counseling. Day 1 introduces basic concepts and skills needed for many aspects for working with individuals needing assistance to build their families. Days 2 and 3 provide more advanced training and offer both ethics training as well as a novel psychology lab (using live actors) for complex clinical cases. May 8, 9, and 10, 2014 (can attend 1 day for $190, 2 days for $360 or all 3 days for $425) Continuing education credits provided.
